Q-Dem is a research group of the Universitat de Barcelona and the IBEI that aims to develop analyses and create data to better understand the quality of democracy.

Consult our Databases
Q-Dem has created databases that make it possible to explain the evolution
of the political agenda, the participation of interest groups in the political process, and the activity
carried out by members of government and parliament in comparative perspective.
Infographics about our Databases
We have created infographics from our databases in order to highlight the explanatory power
of this data. We also offer the option to individually enable the parameters of the graphics
according to the interests of each user.
We are a research team
Q-Dem is made up of professors and researchers in Political Science from the University of Barcelona and the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals, IBEI, who collaborate regularly with other leading international institutions in Europe and the United States through different scientific projects.
